Personally I have never been someone who preferred an older man for even friendship. I have always been surrounded by younger men both for friendship and dating ever since my college days. I am also married to a younger man and have been happy with my life. Though I am not experienced enough to talk of an older man and younger woman relationship as I never had one personally, I have a few friends who are married to guys older than them at least by 15 years many of whom have regretted doing so. Given below is a Pre marriage checklist or 5 things you should consider before marrying an Older Man.

Conservative Outlook: We can’t change the society. Even if you are married out of love, the society may brand you as a Gold Digger if your man is rich and established.

Children: The older man may already have children from his previous relationship and may not want one from his younger woman. There is also a probability that he might already have done a vasectomy.

Debts: It may be true that the older man would have got more time to get settled in his career or business and therefore might be well off financially. But there is also a probability that he may already have some debts you are not aware off.

Health Issues: The older a person is the more are the chances for illness and Diseases. So there is a chance that your older man is as fit as you may think.

Habits and Addictions: The older a person is the more are the chances that a person may have certain habits or addictions he may not be able to give up.

So I would say that if you are a Younger Woman looking to marry an Older man, Beware!

Why some Women are attracted to Older Men

Many times we see women dating or married to guys who are older enough to be their fathers. While we may understand why older wealthy and successful men may want in a younger partner we wonder what is in for younger women in such a relationship. While a man maybe fascinated by young women for reasons like beauty, excitement or an ego boost what is that attracts a woman?

Older Men are known to be more financially stable than younger men as they have had a longer time to work on it. It also means that he may be able to give her a secure and more comfortable life.

Older men have paternal instincts and may pamper you more and also be an authority figure in her life and take change of things better.Most women want to marry someone like their father whom they have adored when they were young.

The Older Guy is more matured compared to his younger counterpart.Younger men still have a sense of immaturity about them.

Older Men are found to be more disciplined and responsible. An Older Man is someone a lady can depend or lean on.

Older Men seem to be more devoted to their partners and normally do not run around flirting or sleeping around with a bunch of women.

Older men normally know what they want as they have experienced the good and the bad in their life so they pretty much know what they are looking for.

Older men may not have the same energy as a younger man so they need not be pleased sexually every day. He also because of his experience knows to please a woman sexually so what may lack in quality would be compensated with quality.

He is more knowledgeable because of his experience.Because of this wisdom an older man can teach her and make her feel more secure and confident.

Since he mostly has a secured career and finances he can be supportive of the younger partner’s ambitions. He may also want his partner to do what he personally could not do himself because of his limitations earlier in life.

Since he already may have been through a lot of relationships or heart breaks that he knows well what it takes to make the relationship work. So he may not commit the mistakes younger men do and can keep the girl happier.

He might not be interested in making babies as he may already have a couple of them.

If it is none of the Qualities which attract a younger woman to an older man then it may be because

She is genuinely in love with him

Or

She is a Gold Digger who is with him for his Money.
