Older woman with younger man romance or marriage is not a matter of awe anymore. Many men have found love, harmony and happiness with older women. Nowadays age is no more a criteria when it comes to matters of the heart. However, some people even now consider such woman in relationships as ‘cradle snatchers’. The society also has given relationships with older women dating younger men the name Cougar Dating which I think is very unkind and mean. When guys can date women who are old enough to be their daughters why can’t women do so? Isn’t this Hypocrisy or Double Standards?

It is very true that forbidden fruit is always tempting. But there is much more to that. Younger men find older women more confident, comfortable, experienced, matured, independent, understanding and less complicated compared to young women. On the other hand older women find young men more adventurous, adaptable and full of energy compared to their old counterparts. There are many older women younger men relationships that have worked very well and are successful as any other relationship. Let us also not forget the celebrities who have played a significant role in popularizing this older woman younger man concept and even have successful marriages. I do not thing there is anything wrong in such a relationship and as long as the couples get along well, have good communication between them and love each other the age difference should not be a problem which could hinder the relationship from being a success. I sincerely hope that this trend of old and mature women dating younger guys are here to stay.
